Q. HOW DOES THE FORCEFIELD NANO-TECHNOLOGY WORK?

The active ingredient in Forcefield forms a colourless, odourless, positively charged polymer that molecularly bonds to the surface. The strong positive charge disrupts the cell membrane of all microorganisms that come in contact with the active surface, thereby causing their cytoplasm and organelles to leak out. It resembles popping a water balloon. Because of this physical kill mechanism, Forcefield does not promote the development of drug-resistant superbugs.

Q. DO I STILL HAVE TO CLEAN THE SURFACE REGULARLY?

Because Forcefield is continuously destroying bacteria, mould and mildew that contacts it, you should still clean the surface to remove the dead cell debris, Forcefield does not do that for you.

Q. WILL BLEACH OR OTHER CLEANING CHEMICALS RUIN THE ANTIMICROBIAL PROTECTION CREATED BY FORCEFIELD?

No.

Q. IS FORCEFIELD GREEN?

Forcefield is environmentally friendly! It’s a water-based solution that does not contain any volatile organic compounds and decays in landfills to commonly occurring material like silicon dioxide (sand), carbon, nitrogen oxides and water.

Q. WHAT BENEFITS DO MY CUSTOMERS GET FROM PRODUCTS WITH FORCEFIELD ANTIMICROBIAL PROTECTION?

Forcefield protection continuously fights the growth microbes such as bacteria, mould and mildew. Forcefield protection makes products easier to clean and keeps them cleaner, fresher and odour-free between cleanings

More Frequently Asked Questions…

Q. Is Forcefield listed with the TGA?

Yes, “Hospital Grade Disinfectant” – is certified by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and is entered into the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) for use against COVID-19 as a Hospital Grade Disinfectant. 4 in 1 is Australian & UK Laboratory tested on an undisturbed, non-porous surface after 30 days from application.

Q. What additional benefits do customer get from products with Forcefield Antimicrobial Proptection?

Forcefield protection continuously fights the growth microbes such as bacteria, mould and COVID-19.

Forcefields protection also makes the surface easier to clean next time, as the nano-coating fills the micropores of the surface.

Q. How does your product kill germs compared to most options?

The mode of kill for an alcohol/ethanol product is to dehydrate and poison cells. Our mode of kill is a physical one. Our active ingredients contain thousands of nano spikes that impale the cell popping it like a balloon.

Q. Do I still have to clean the surface regularly?

Because Forcefield is continuously destroying germs, bacteria, mould and COVID-19 that comes into contact with it, you should still clean the surface to remove the dust, dirt and dead cell debris.

Q. Will bleach or other cleaning chemicals ruin the antimicrobial protection created by Forcefield?

No. Once Forcefield’s technology dries and bonds to the surface, generally only constant or harsh abrasion will remove the protection.

Q. Is Forcefield environmentally Friendly?

Forcefield is environmentally responsible because it is a water- based solution. It does not contain any volatile organic compounds and decays in landfills to commonly occurring material like silicon dioxide (sand), carbon and nitrogen oxides and water.

Q. How often does a high touch point need treating?

4 in 1 offers lasting protection on high-touch surfaces.  Test treated surface regularly with a “Quat check” litmus paper test as a guide for when to reapply Forcefield 4 in 1.

Q. How can you tell how long Forcefield will last on a surface?

By the use of the test strips. We also have multiple real-world data, including from a large business in Australia, that the product is still active years later.

Q. How long on a surface does a normal Disinfectant remain active?

Hard to say, generally when it dries and is wiped off

Q. Can the 4 in 1 be sprayed onto cutting boards?

Yes

Q. Some other Disinfectants are very cheap or are concentrates?

Yes there are many disinfectants on the market. Many disinfect surfaces, but after the product is dried, they offer little or no ongoing protection. People who have to continually use a product to sanitise a surface will use a lot of product. There are also labour costs and can be time lapses between treatments, with no protection at all!

Q. How often should a premises (Home or Business) be fogged with 4 in 1?

Check the treated surface regularly with a “Quat check” litmus paper test as a guide for when to reapply Forcefield 4 in 1 Disinfectant. Fogging treatment can last up to 12 months on all low touch surfaces e.g. ceilings, walls, under and behind furniture. Higher touched surfaces that include normal surface cleaning procedures after the Forcefield treatment e.g. light switches, door handles, benchtops can be checked with test strips.

Q. What are the ideal treatment intervals for fogging?

We recommend assessing the hygiene risk of the treated area. Assess the current risk and use the test strips.

Lower:  Homes, warehouses, offices

Higher:  Schools, aged care, childcare

Q. How many sprays in a 45ml Hand Sanitiser?

In a 45ml unit there are 450 sprays which allows protection for a child with 1 spray a day and an adult 2 sprays (225 from a 45ml unit).  Costs less than 0.05c per day.

Q. How effective is the 4 in 1 against mould?

Our Fogging Solution (4 in 1 Disinfectant) has been EN tested against 3 types of serious common moulds and 2 types of strong bacteria from an independent laboratory with outstanding results.  Read more about mould.  Results available on request.

Q. Are there any case studies?

Lismore Floods – After the floods in Lismore, Northern NSW mould became a massive problem.  Forcefield treated 157 homes and businesses in just 2 weeks. To-date the mould is not known to have returned in any of the applications.

Townsville Flood – Our product was widely used to treat a number of properties after the floods in North Queensland.
